Body Hair Extraction

In some patient, safe donor area is either poor or insufficient. Their donor area cannot provide sufficient, good quality grafts to cover the complete bald area. In such condition, body hair extraction provides an opportunity to extract more grafts from the different part of the body like beard, chest, armpit, back of the body and pubic hair. Body hair extraction is the extension of FUE hair transplant. Where under local anaesthesia hair is cored by motorized FUE machine, then extracted manually. Not all body hair is suitable for hair transplant.

So hair is chosen after few tests

3. PIGMENT ANAGEN IDENTIFICATION TEST
4. TORSO DONOR INDEX

Based on these tests if surgeon find body hair suitable , then they go for body hair extraction.

At the ADON CLINIC, we do body hair extraction regularly. Preferred hair is the beard , then chest and then other body hair. Anaesthesia during body hair extraction has taken care, as we follow international standard of local anaesthesia so that all the vital lymph node and glands should be protected during the procedure. Anaesthesia is always given after making a pinch and in a circular pattern.
